At the Annual General Meeting on 13 May 2025 Councillor Phil Hughes was elected as Chair of Bowes Parish Council.

Phil, a previous Chair of the Council, served as Vice-Chair in 2024/25.

Councillor Dave Carlisle stood down as Chair at the start of the meeting, but was subsequently elected as Vice Chair.

Together Phil and Dave bring significant experience of local council leadership to the Council and continue to work closely together with the other councillors to serve the residents of Bowes.

A new meeting timetable was agreed at the AGM and is available on the 'meeting dates' page of this website.
